ETTEPLAN AND INTERTEK WIDEN COOPERATION

Etteplan Oyj and Intertek Overseas Holdings Ltd have agreed to further widen their cooperation. As part of the agreement the operations and the entire personnel of Etteplan's subsidiary company NATLABS Oy will be transferred to Intertek. The 10 employees will continue in their tasks as so called former employees. NATLABS Oy provides laboratory and approval services to its customers. The turnover of the company in 2006 was approximately EUR one million. The agreement follows Etteplan's strategy, according to which the company focuses on providing industrial design services to its customers on international markets. Thanks to the cooperation Etteplan is able to offer its customers in addition to design services also approval and testing services exploiting the worldwide network of Intertek. Etteplan will book a sales profit of approximately EUR 800 000 for selling of NATLABS Oy. Through this arrangement Intertek will strengthen its position in Finland and the fast development of services provided by NATLABS Oy to more extensive can be secured. By offering international approval and testing services NATLABS Oy provides significant added value to its customers. Intertek, listed in the London Stock Exchange, is a leading international provider of quality and safety services to a wide range of global and local industries. Intertek provides services for its customers through their network of over 850 laboratories and offices and the company employs 18,000 people in more than 100 countries. Intertek has grown rapidly to be one of the companies to pay attention to in testing and certification branch in Finland. Etteplan is one of the largest companies in the Nordic Countries providing industrial technology design and expert services.
