Etteplan receives outsourcing agreement from Fastems

-      Fastems is outsourcing its technical documentation to Etteplan and focusing on its core business

According to a co-operation agreement, Fastems Oy Ab will transfer all technical documentation operations, including translations, to Etteplan as of 1 June 2016. Fastems is a supplier of production technology automation solutions.

As part of the agreement, Fastems’ two technical documentation experts will transfer to Etteplan as existing employees. The agreement also covers spare parts documentation as a new area.

Technical documentation means technical data from the entire life cycle of the product that is used in, for example, product development, marketing and service and maintenance tasks. Machinery and equipment manufacturers’ requirements concerning the quality and digitalisation of technical documentation have grown due to the increasing importance of companies’ service business.
