.eu consumer interest underscored by strong annual renewals and Q4 growth
.eu Q4 2011 progress report availableBrussels, 8 March 2012 – On average, 81.6% of registered .eu domain names were renewed in 2011, according to the latest quarterly progress report from the .eu top-level domain registry, EURid. .eu has maintained a renewal rate of over 80% for the past five years. “I am pleased to see the extent of .eu consumer loyalty. The strong renewal rate for 2011 shows that end-users have a sustained interest in renewing their .eu domain names,” said EURid’s General Manager, Marc Van Wesemael. .eu registrations grew by 3.0% in Q4 2011 which was the strongest
