Astrid Algulin New Chief Risk Officer at Euroclear Sweden

Euroclear Sweden has appointed Astrid Algulin as new Chief Risk Officer (CRO) as of 1 April 2025. Astrid has a solid background in risk management roles across the financial industry, most recently at EP Bank (formerly Erik Penser Bank), where she now serves as CFO.

– Astrid has extensive experience of risk management, auditing and not least as CFO. She will be a great addition to our executive team, and we wish her a warm welcome, says Roger T. Storm, CEO Euroclear Sweden.

– I am looking forward to joining Euroclear Sweden, and take on an exciting role where I hope to contribute to business development from a risk management perspective, says Astrid Algulin.

Astrid will succeed Kristina Åkerberg from 1 April 2025. Kristina will proceed to a new assignment within Euroclear, after serving as Euroclear Sweden CRO since 2017.
