European Directories announces intra-group transaction of Herold by dogado

European Directories announces that its majority-owned subsidiary dogado GmbH will acquire the share capital of fully owned Austrian group company, Herold Business Data GmbH (“HEROLD”). The transaction results in the establishment of a leading provider offering the most comprehensive range of website and online marketing services for small and medium-sized businesses in Austria. Closing of the transaction is expected in February.

The unification of HEROLD and dogado group creates a player with a unique strategic position in the digital market: both companies specialize in supporting small and medium-sized companies achieve business success with website and online marketing products. HEROLD and dogado group thus complement each other perfectly in their approaches.

Herold serves over 45.000 small and medium-sized companies in Austria with its website services, which include fully managed websites as well as marketing services such as search engine optimization (SEO) and digital advertising campaigns (SEA). HEROLD has earned its reputation as a leading service provider for search engine marketing: as one in around ten Austrian companies, HEROLD holds the title "Google Leading Agency", which is awarded by the search engine market leader itself.
