European Partner Solutions' Ina Schmidt shows Corporate Social Responsibility in action

Wirral business woman Ina Schmidt has been awarded with the role of Patron of the British Red Cross for Merseyside and Wirral. Having raised over £80,000 for the British Red Cross through her organisation of successful major events, this role recognises her expertise in events management as well as her dedication and invaluable hard work for the British Red Cross. Ina uses her impeccable sense of style, stunning expertise and invaluable professional and personal contacts to ensure that every year the Red Cross Ball becomes larger, more enjoyable and more successful. Her consistent hard work is clearly demonstrated by the increasing amount raised by the Ball each year, with last year’s total reaching more than £35,000. This role is highly regarded and valued by volunteers, staff and the general public across Merseyside and Wirral and has raised the profile of British Red Cross in Wirral. Ina’s work has helped bring local businesses together and brought other Wirral businesses forward which have in turn become sponsors and partners for The Red Cross Ball. By helping the British Red Cross and the 2011 Red Cross Ball, companies are privileged to share Ina’s knowledge and contacts throughout Wirral to help them develop their companies. Alexis Fairclough (Senior Community Fundraiser for Merseyside) says “It is amazing, in such a demanding economic climate to find a company and a person who puts so much time, effort, money and expertise into a charity. Ina Schmidt and European Partner Solutions have demonstrated they are willing to put their own business behind supporting the Red Cross, which Ina has done for the past four years.” Ina is currently organising the annual Red Cross Ball for the fourth year running, which will take place on Saturday 12th November at the Hillbark Hotel, Royden Park. "My family was always supporting the Red Cross and when I had the chance to be introduced to the local Fundraising team four years ago I became quickly involved in helping them. The Red Cross is the world’s largest humanitarian organisation, helping people in crisis whoever and wherever they are. I have the greatest respect for all the volunteers who are donating so much time and giving so much to this voluntary network". Ina says this year’s Ball will be even bigger and better than previous years."The 2011 Ball is on November 12th at Hillbark Hotel and we have a fantastic program with exclusive entertainment. We are very proud to have so many local companies from Cheshire and Merseyside as sponsors. We hope to raise even more money than last year for the British Red Cross", Ina said. “It came as a surprise that I received the honour of being Patron.  It makes no difference to my current support and commitment to the British Red Cross, but it is flattering to be recognised for my achievements. I have definitely increased awareness of The Red Cross Ball here on the Wirral and I have even had the service of some volunteers to help. So I am proud to be part of the British Red Cross".
