Framfab creates wireless workplaces for its employees Framfab is replacing fixed telephones with wireless telephony supplied by Europolitan. By using the wireless office concept, employees now only need one telephone, regardless of whether they are at the office or visiting a client. Framfab is investing in a customised wireless solution supplied by Europolitan. The agreement with Europolitan means that 750 of Framfab's employees at its 22 offices in Sweden will be equipped with mobile telephones instead of fixed telephones. "This will increase employee accessibility and raise the level of our customer service," says Pär Fack, Expansion Director at Framfab. "We have very flexible working hours and our working methods are highly project oriented why a mobile solution is excellent for us. And the total costs for the wireless office are lower than those of our old fixed telephony system." Framfab's employees have access to the same type of switchboard functions as in the fixed network, including speed dial, call transfer, voice mailbox and conference calls. Users also have access to mobile services that enable them to send and receive text messages, mobile faxes and mobile data, for example. "We are moving towards a wireless future and it is natural for a cutting edge company such as Framfab to opt for intelligent and efficient solutions", says Robert Nilsson, Sales Manager at Europolitan. Framfab's business concept is to generate new business for the network economy with the help of strategic advice and digital services. Framfab currently has over 750 employees (1,500 including Guide) at 22 offices located in Gothenburg, Cologne, Copenhagen, Linköping, London, Lund, Malmö, Palo Alto, Paris, Stockholm, Uppsala and Västerås. The client list includes 3M, AstraZeneca, AXA, Electrolux, Ericsson, France Telecom, IKEA, the International Red Cross, the SAAB Group, Tele Danmark, Vattenfall, the Volvo Car Corporation and the Volvo Group.
