Karlskrona, 2 March 2000 Europolitan enhances Hantera web site Free e-mail service for all Europolitan subscribers Europolitan is now introducing a free e-mail service, EuroMail, for all its subscribers. EuroMail enables receiving notification directly to a mobile telephone when a new e-mail is received. Subscribers choose themselves whether or not they want notification sent, and which e-mails they want to be notified about. Subscribers can sign up for EuroMail free of charge on Europolitan's Hantera web site (http://hantera.europolitan.se). EuroMail is an e-mail service linked to the user's Europolitan subscription. The service is available on Europolitan's Hantera web site, where Europolitan customers can control and tailor their subscriptions and services entirely to their individual needs. The EuroMail service has been developed for users that receive a lot of e- mail every day and want to sort out the particularly important messages. The service is also well suited to people that cannot or do not want to connect to the Internet to check their e-mail for new messages at any time. With EuroMail, you can receive a message on your mobile telephone every time you receive a new e-mail. You can read up to 1,400 symbols directly on your mobile telephone. "More and more, information is being sent via e-mail. Being notified directly via a mobile telephone when an e-mail comes in is really neat," says Magnus Hoffner, Head of Internet Product Development at Europolitan. "We simply relocate the e-mail inbox to the mobile telephone, meaning you can always access your e-mail regardless of whether you are walking through the forest or at work. Using mobile Internet will be all the more natural in the future and EuroMail is therefore a great instrument in this context." EuroMail and the Hantera web site can be found at http://hantera.europolitan.se. Hantera offers a basic range of services that customers then expand based on their own individual needs. You can subscribe to Europolitan's information services, enabling you, for example, to receive news and share prices directly on your mobile telephone. It is also possible to compose text messages and draw pictures on Hantera and send them to a mobile telephone. You can also reach Europolitan's WAP services via Hantera. Both EuroMail and Hantera are available to all Europolitan's subscribers. EuroMail provides users with free access to an e-mail account whilst the optional new mail notification costs SEK 0.50 (including VAT) per notice sent. EuroMail also enables sending attached files.
