Rev2 to Showcase RiskView® Solution at CableLabs Winter Conference
PHILADELPHIA, MARCH 8, 2012 – Rev2, a rapidly growing Business Risk Analytics™ provider focused on delivering solutions that improve business performance, today announced that it will showcase its RiskView® software solutions at the CableLabs® Winter Conference to be held at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, March 11-13.
Rev2’s showcase will include a low-cost, high-value version of RiskView for small and medium-sized cable operators, which was introduced to the market last month.
The CableLabs Winter Conference, open only to qualified CableLabs member companies, addresses the technology issues uppermost in the minds and priorities of its member companies' technical and business executives.
Rev2 Demonstration
On the show floor, Rev2 will demonstrate its RiskView business risk analytics solution for cable service providers. Business risk analytics is a new class of business performance tools that helps service providers drive down costs and improve their customers' experience. It does this by delivering the capability to move from a reactive, point-in-time view of data to an over time, cross-silo view of performance metrics (e.g., recent cost of providing service in a specific hub, node or street).
RiskView provides an organization-wide business risk analytics methodology that applies a common framework and vernacular around risk management. This includes the ability, within that framework, to apply quantitative measures to risk, yielding "normalized" data for comparison. It also provides consistent and automated scoring and data collection capabilities between multiple data sources (e.g., telemetry, trouble-tickets, network events) to identify concentrations of risk.
RiskView outcomes include recommendations and prioritizations for a set of clearly defined risk mitigation activities at the hub, node and street levels.
The RiskView demonstration will show business risk analytics correlated from live, end-to-end data collected from across the actual service delivery infrastructure of a world-class cable service provider. The data inputs span equipment sources ranging from the head-end to the set-top box, including telemetry sources. Using this data, RiskView scores and prioritizes actual and potential outage events and determines their impact on the customer's experience. By providing these business risk analytics, RiskView is able to improve the performance of Care Velocity, Service Operations, Dispatch, Maintenance Operations, and other business silos.
