Gary Hattery-Operations and Product Development Expert-Elected to Santal Solutions’ Board of Directors

Neenah, WI- Santal Solutions LLC has announced that Gary Hattery, Director of Operations with Engineering Mechanics Corporation of Columbus (Emc2), has been elected to the company's Board of Directors. With more than 30 years of research, development and operations experience, Hattery has made significant contributions to more than 1,000 projects in areas as diverse as deep-sea submersibles, the space shuttle, nanomaterials and biomaterials. He has also been program manager for several megaprojects such as the selection of materials for the Alyeska Pipeline.
Prior to starting with Emc2 in late 2007, Hattery spent much of the past decade overseeing the operations and financial success of one of the largest independent materials research groups in the United States. He managed a staff of more than 100 employees across more than 100,000 square feet of laboratory and office space. This group conducted approximately $25 million annually in research and development requiring Hattery's oversight of nearly $5 million in equipment.
