Acquisitions of own shares in Evolution AB (publ)

Evolution AB (publ) (“Evolution”) has, during the period 29 December 2021 – 30 December 2021, acquired a total of 57,500 own shares within the framework of the repurchase programme introduced by the board of directors to improve the capital structure of Evolution by reducing the capital, and thereby creating added shareholder value.

The repurchase programme, which Evolution announced on 3 December 2021, is being implemented in accordance with the EU Market Abuse Regulation No 596/2014 (“MAR”) and Commission Delegated Regulation No 2016/1052 (“Safe Harbour Regulation”).

During the period 29 December 2021 – 30 December 2021, shares in Evolution have been acquired as set out below.

All acquisitions were carried out on Nasdaq Stockholm by Carnegie Investment Bank AB (publ) on behalf of Evolution. Following the above acquisitions, Evolution’s holding of own shares amounted to 1,158,865 as of 30 December 2021. The total number of shares in Evolution is 215,111,115.

A full breakdown of the transactions conducted according to article 5.3 of MAR and article 2.3 of the Safe Harbour Regulation is attached to this press release. Since 6 December 2021 up to and including 30 December 2021, a total of 1,158,865 shares have been acquired within the scope of the programme. A maximum of 21,511,111 shares in total may be acquired.
