(Stockholm, 18 June 2018) Bankomat and EVRY have entered into a comprehensive agreement for the delivery of systems and services for all of Bankomat’s approximately 1,800 ATMs in Sweden. The agreement represents total contract value of approximately SEK 330 million over a period of three years. The new agreement will run from 1 April 2019, and includes an option to extend for a further two years.

The new contract will extend Bankomat’s current agreement under which EVRY provides the entire value chain associated with Bankomat’s ATMs. EVRY has been Bankomat’s collaboration partner since 2011, and as such EVRY manages everything from software and operations to first-line support, technical maintenance, cash level calculations for every machine, and the ordering of cash.

Bankomat is a leader in cash management in Sweden and has around 1,800 ATMs in over 500 places. Bankomat collects and delivers cash at Sveriges Riksbank (the Swedish central bank) and provides efficient cash management throughout Sweden via its depots. Bankomat principally offers cash withdrawals from ATMs, but also withdrawals and deposits in foreign currencies, account statements, transfers and to change PIN codes, depending on the services the various banks wish to offer their customers.

“There continues to be a high level of demand from Swedish people to withdraw and deposit cash, even though digital payments are increasingly popular. Nevertheless, cash still plays an important role in society, and we are now establishing more and more cash centres that allow users to withdraw and deposit cash. EVRY is a trusted collaboration partner for us, delivering its services with a high level of quality. Working with EVRY enables us to offer cost-efficient services, while at the same time they take responsibility for the entire value chain associated with our ATMs, which helps us to optimise our cash management”, comments Nina Wenning, CEO at Bankomat.

“Bankomat’s ATMs have a very high availability, and this has helped give the company a solid reputation. We are pleased that the company once again gives us their vote of confidence and look forward to continuing to collaborate to secure Bankomat’s management of cash throughout the Swedish society. Thanks to our modern solutions, we satisfy all the requirements for functionality, security and compliance, while also helping make the cash management process more cost-efficient”, comments Björn Ivroth, CEO in EVRY.

“This agreement strengthens EVRY’s position as the leading provider in this area in the Nordic region, and we see a growth potential for our solution in Europe”, adds Björn Ivroth.

Bankomat’s owners, which are also customers, are Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, SEB and Swedbank and associated savings banks. Other banks that have agreements with Bankomat are Länsförsäkringar, Marginalen Bank, Resurs Bank, Skandiabanken, Sparbanken Syd and Volvofinans.

EVRY offers a broad range of ATMs based on a vendor-independent software. The company’s services are fully integrated with national and international card networks such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club International, LINK and UnionPay. EVRY currently manages and delivers services for 6,000 cash ATMs in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Great Britain, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and France.
