Exel Composites was awarded for the second consecutive year with the first prize in the small cap category of the Best Investor sites-competition. The competition is organized annually by the Finnish Foundation for Share Promotion and the Finnish Society of Financial Analysts to develop investor communications by highlighting the best practices.

According to the jury, the companies that performed best in the competition provide broad information through their investor sites that is easily made available thanks to a clear structure and efficient search functions. This year the evaluation criteria focused particularly on sustainability and transparency. In 2019, the jury of the competition was composed of President and CEO Sari Lounasmeri, Finnish Foundation for Share Promotion, analyst Davit Kantola, Finnish Society of Financial Analysts, portfolio Manager Hannu Angervuo, eQ, and President and CEO Tom Lindström, Cardia Invest.

The competition evaluates all stock exchange listed companies in Finland and their Finnish investor sites in four categories: large cap (1st prize Kesko), mid cap (Alma Media) and small cap (Exel Composites) as well as First North (VMP).
