Exel Composites Plc revises its outlook concerning revenue for the full year 2018

EXEL COMPOSITES PLC      STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE     30 JANUARY 2019 at 15:10 EET

Exel Composites revises its outlook published on 31 October 2018 concerning revenue for the full year 2018 and expects revenue to increase significantly compared to 2017. In the last quarter of 2018 the development of order intake and revenue was more favorable than expected as a result of increased demand particularly in the wind energy industry. The outlook concerning adjusted operating profit for 2018 remains unchanged.

Based on preliminary unaudited information, revenue in 2018 increased approximately 12% to EUR 97 million compared to 2017. Adjusted operating profit in 2018 was approximately EUR 5 million.

The updated outlook is:
“Exel Composites expects revenue to increase significantly and adjusted operating profit to decrease in 2018 compared to 2017.”

The previous outlook was:
“Exel Composites expects revenue to increase and adjusted operating profit to decrease in 2018 compared to 2017.”

Exel Composites publishes its Financial Statements Release for January-December 2018 on Friday 15 February 2019 at approximately 09:00 EET.
