9 January 2006 Exel Sports and Seger United signed an agreement with the Swedish Floorball Federation Exel Sports Oy and Seger United AB have signed an agreement with the Swedish Floorball Federation regarding floorball equipment sponsoring starting 1 July 2006. The agreement is valid for four years. Mr. Mika Sulin, Managing Director of Exel Sports, sees the co-operation as an important part of Exel Floorball’s strategy internationally. “The co-operation strengthens Exel Floorball’s position and development in Sweden. It feels good to have a strong, long-term co-operation with the current champions from Sweden, the home country of floorball.” ”Seger’s strategic goal is to strengthen Exel’s brand position in Sweden. We strive to keep Exel as the leading floorball brand in Sweden. Therefore it was quite natural for us to start co-operation with the Swedish Floorball Federation when this opportunity was presented to us”, Mr. Jonas Georgsson, Managing Director of Seger United, says. ”We want to make the most of the opportunities given by the Federation and the Floorball World Championships which will take place in Stockholm, Sweden in May 2006.
