Jari Hyle appointed Exel Sports Oy’s Logistics Manager Exel incorporated the marketing, sales, logistics and product development of its Sport division’s consumer products (Nordic Fitness Sports, floorball and winter sports) into a separate company, Exel Sports Oy, in April 2005. The new company will focus on the sales, marketing and distribution of poles and floorball. All the poles and floorball clubs of the new company will be continued to be manufactured by the parent company Exel Oyj at Mäntyharju, Finland. In order to make it logistics operations more effective Exel Sports Oy has decided to strengthen its resources by appointing a logistics manager. Mr. Jari Hyle, who is a commercial college graduate and logistician, was appointed logistics manager as of 9 May 2005. He has extensive experience of logistics operations. Most recently he was logistics manager of Philips Ab Domestic Appliances and Personal Care division and Nordic Order Desk Manager in Stockholm, Sweden. He has also been employed as FSV Route Planner by Coca-Cola Juomat Oy and worked with import operations by Net Shipping Ltd Oy. Hyle will be mainly responsible for Exel Sports Oy’s logistics and its development. He will also act as the head of import and export assistants. He will report to Mr. Mika Sulin, Managing Director of Exel Sports Oy.
