EYEONID GROUP AB (publ): Bolder announces partner agreement with Stereolabs SAS
The partners combined knowledge in 3D-sensing, distributed AI, and end-user engagement will be used to launch new and powerful solutions for companies that want to take their user engagement to the next level.
The co-operation agreement signed 7/5 - 2021 stipulates that the parties will establish:
- Joint development projects.
- Cross-sale of products & software solutions.
- Joint prototyping.
- A real-world lab in AIR by Bolder for developing and testing concepts, prototyping and piloting.
Stereolabs builds technology that perceives and understands the world the way humans do. The company has a wide product portfolio, including the ZED 2 stereo camera. It runs cutting-edge software that allows the camera to perceive depth and motion like humans do. The ZED cameras have been adopted by thousands of developers worldwide and are increasingly used by major game developers to power mixed-reality capture of VR and AR games. Stereolabs is a privately owned, venture-backed company with offices in San Francisco, New York, and Paris.
“It is a very exciting collaboration that we are now announcing. We are two companies that share the view of how important it is to empower the individual. Stereolabs’ 3D technology, AI and motion sensing, combined with Bolder's vision and platform that gives the individual control over its own information, will help streamline companies' operations and facilitate new business models with solutions that strengthen the cyber physical experience. The companies complement each other in terms of technology, business model and culture. With our collaboration, we will be able to accelerate new business models and with Stereolab's capabilities, we ensure that we can deliver solutions in a larger scale”, says Tomas Olsson, CEO of Bolder.
“The combination of what we do at Stereolabs where we are a leader in 3D and motion sensing where AI is processed at the edge and together with Bolder's platform that ensures that the individual is in the driver's seat around their information makes laws such as GDPR and the focus on Privacy in the industry not an obstacle but rather an opportunity. This leads to new business models that both individuals and companies can benefit from, which has been very difficult until now”, says Cecile Schmollgruber, CEO of Stereolabs.
“Bolder is excited to start collaborating with a partner that shares the same philosophy and at the same time has complementary competencies and experience that would have taken us years to achieve. We could not have found a better match for collaboration”, says Eirik Skjaerseth, founder of Bolder and the architect behind the collaboration.
“It is very inspiring to be part of this journey and to be part of developing the business. Stereolabs is a company based in both Europe and the USA, which in the long run can create business opportunities globally”, says Patrik Ugander CEO Eyeonid Group AB.
