Hitachi buys Header Compression test license from Effnet

The Japanese company Hitachi Communication Technologies Ltd. has bought a test license for Effnet’s Header Compression software. Hitachi Communication Technologies Ltd. is a subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd., a leading global electronics company. The company is among others a leader in the design, development and worldwide sales of information and communication system-related products, including IP networks and 3rd Generation Mobile Communication Systems. “There is an increased interest in Header Compression from manufacturers of infrastructure equipment for mobile telephony. This is partly a result of last year’s breakthrough order from Qualcomm and we are pleased to add another important player within the CDMA2000 segment to our customer list, and Hitachi will serve as a very valuable reference customer.”, says Hans Runesten, Managing Director, Effnet AB and CEO, Effnet Holding AB.
