Fagerhult acquires 50% of the Belgian lighting company WACO

In order to strengthen the product offer and development possibilities for the retail division, Fagerhult has joined forces with the Belgian lighting manufacturer WACO and agreed a deal which gives a shared ownership with an option to acquire the remaining 50 % during 2009.

"Fagerhult Retail aims to strengthen its position as the brand which will be perceived as the ideal partner to bring lighting solutions to all segments of any retail group. From the flagship & outlets to the offices and into the warehouse, we have the answer." says David Francis, Director of Fagerhult retail division.

WACO designs and manufactures lighting products for interior use with a high architectural design value from their premises in Baaigem, Belgium. With a current sales turnover of € 2 million and 10 employees, Fagerhult sees great potential to increase this via this new association and cooperation.
