Falken Tyre’s ZIEX ZE914 ECORUN chosen as OEM tyre for Chrysler 200
Sumitomo Rubber Industries (President: Ikuji Ikeda) has been awarded a contract from FCA US to supply tyres for the 2016 Chrysler 200 BUX (Built-Up Export) models to be sold in some international markets. “We [Falken] are extremely excited to continue building our relationship with FCA US. Being on an award-winning vehicle such as the Chrysler 200 plays a vital role in our OE expansion,” says Anthony Lee, Falken OE Technical Manager.
This Chrysler 200 fitment is Falken North America’s second contract with FCA US to supply factory standard OE tyres, namely Falken’s ZIEX ZE914 ECORUN (size: 215/55R17). The ZE914 was designed to provide excellent rolling resistance while also combining great handling and wear performance. The tyres will be supplied to the FCA US assembly plant in Sterling Heights, Mi.
