Victory in the US for Falken Tyres' Porsche in TUSC

After a dramatic and exciting battle in challenging and wet conditions at Sahlen's six hour race at Watkins Glen, Wolf Henzler and Bryan Sellers secured the GTLM class victory in their Porsche running on Falken tyres.

The severity of the adverse race conditions meant the race in upstate New York was repeatedly interrupted by safety car periods as well as a race stoppage that brought all the cars back to the pits. 

Falken’s strategy and a trouble-free run meant the team could secure the win in the Porsche 991 despite a last-minute fuel scare, running very low on fuel near the end of the race.

The victory means the Japanese tyre manufacturer has won at least one race in either the American Le Mans Series or TUDOR United SportsCar Championship in each of the last five years.
