Mando Diao, the group that wrote the official World Championships song Love Last Forever, will give a concert on the competition-free day during Falun 2015.
- We are extremely happy that Mando Diao accepted the challenge to write the official World Championships song and it is brilliant that we can present a major concert as part of the event programme, says Kent Lövgren, Marketing Director, Falun2015.

The Mando Diao concert will conclude the programme on the activity day, Monday, 23rd February, which is the only competition-free day during the World Championships. A series of activities will be organised that day, including a company relay race and various children’s activities. In the evening, the world-renowned Dalarna group Mando Diao will take the stage to perform in the festival village in the middle of the Lugnet venue.
- It is great that Mando Diao is participating both in the opening ceremony and by giving this concert. Their concert will be the perfect conclusion for the activity day, says Lövgren.

3,250 tickets will be available for the Mando Diao concert, of which 1,250 are VIP tickets that include a three-course dinner. Tickets sales will open on the 14th of November and Kent Lövgren believes that the concert will be sold-out.

Mando Diao was Falun2015’s first choice to write the official World Championships song, and Love Last Forever has been well received both at home in Sweden and on the band’s current European tour.
- It is a wonderful song with a strong message that’s highlighted throughout. The song will outlast the World Championships and we are excited to know that it will always be associated with Falun2015, says Kent Lövgren.
