Today, one year remains to the opening of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun, which will be a true ski festival. Secure your place already now; ticket sales begin on the 15th of March.

The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun will take place from the 18th of February - 1st of March 2015. In the course of 12 days, 21 new world champions will be crowned.
- Falun2015 will offer an all-day programme for the guests. There are several days when Nordic Combined will take place in the morning, followed by Cross-Country Skiing and then Ski Jumping at night. All tickets will be day tickets, explains Sven von Holst, CEO at Falun2015.

Competition days are divided in two categories, red and blue. Prices for these two categories differ marginally. In addition, the stadium will be divided into various sections from which to follow the competitions, with somewhat different price levels.
- Children until the age of 12 are going to be free of charge along the courses. During the ‘blue’ days, the youth and senior citizens only cost 125 swedish crowns. We want to enable as many people as possible to come and experience the World Championships. A family with two children will be able to enjoy a full day at Falun2015 for less than 500 swedish crowns for tickets, says Sven von Holst.

The goal is to have 200,000 spectators following the competitions at Lugnet during the event. The organisers expect some 50,000 ski-crazy norwegians to come and cheer for their countrymen along the courses and at the jumping hills.

Ticket sales will open on the 15th of March and tickets can be bought either online at falun2015.com or in person at the tourist information offices in Dalarna.
