As the largest owner of SKF, FAM supports today's announced plans to separate SKF's Automotive business into a new company and distribute it to SKF's shareholders.

"FAM supports the proposal announced today. The proposed split of SKF will create two global companies that are market leaders in their respective segments. The split will provide better opportunities for the two focused companies to continue creating profitable growth and long-term value. After the split is completed, which is expected to occur during the first half of 2026, both companies will be strategic holdings for FAM," commented FAM's CEO, Håkan Buskhe.

FAM is SKF's largest owner, holding 15 percent of the capital and 29 percent of the votes.
