Cloetta Fazer has signed a reseller agreement with the Polish distribution and marketing company Premium Foods for the sale and distribution of Cloetta Fazer’s products in Poland, effective 1 January 2007. In connection with this, Cloetta Fazer will wind up its own sales unit in Poland.

The import company Premium Foods was established in 1980 and is specialised in marketing, sales and distribution of food products (primarily tea, coffee and gourmet foods) on the Polish market. The company has annual sales of around EUR 30 million and employs 110 people. Under the agreement, Premium Foods’ sales organisation will take over responsibility for Cloetta Fazer’s logistics, sales and distribution in Poland as of 1 January 2007.

“Cloetta Fazer’s strategy is to focus on the Group’s strongest brands. We will continue to market and sell our prioritised brands in the Polish market through collaboration with Premium Foods”, says Cloetta Fazer’s CEO Karsten Slotte.
