Copenhagen, Denmark – Feats, the first professional network based on verified roles in projects rather than employment history, has raised €2 million to expand the team and reach new markets. The seed round was led by Crowberry Capital, with participation from Trifork Labs and The Danish Growth Fund (Vækstfonden).

Feats has reinvented the ‘professional network’ from the ground up using verified roles in projects, rather than employment history, as the organizing principle. Projects build strong bonds between people and valuable track-records with unique data.

“The transparency and intelligence Feats provides will revolutionize how careers and companies are built”, said Michael Sherain, co-founder and CEO of Feats. “We help our members secure their professional track-records and create new opportunities like a Hollywood agent for each person.”

Companies use Feats to increase recognition of their employees and to find the best people for their teams - hiring employees, freelancers, and agencies through one platform. Feats’ unique dataset based on verified roles in projects - ‘The Collaboration Graph’ - means you can identify and contact people based on their actual experience, not just their CV. This allows hirers to skip initial interviews to save time and to cut out recruitment middlemen to save money.

“People who build products, brands, and businesses do so through projects”, said Sherain. “We turn their project histories into trusted profiles and peer networks they can rely on.”

Feats is growing fast with over 4,500 projects representing an estimated 2,700 person-years of work by people in technical, creative, and business roles. Over 2,000 brands have projects in Feats, including leading Danish companies as well as Danish projects for international brands like Volkswagen and Red Bull. The new funding will be used to expand across Europe and beyond.

Hekla Arnardottir, Partner at Crowberry Capital said, "How work is changing is a theme that we have been actively exploring and we believe in the unique approach Feats provides. Work is becoming more flexible, both in terms of employment type and location. The transparency and trust that Feats creates makes it easier to get to know and hire the best people wherever they are.”

As the venture arm of one of Europe’s leading IT services companies, Trifork Labs sees Feats as a natural evolution of software development. Founder and CEO of Trifork, Jørn Larsen, said, “Feats takes an open source principle loved by developers and applies it to all members of product teams. Talented people want to be recognized for their contributions, and good companies want that too.”
