Feed of Me launches a crowdfunding campaign

Feed of Me, the Finnish based social media radio service, launches today, March 14, as a result of a new round of financing via the Indiegogo service.

On Feed of Me, everyone can create a social media radio station of their own. Users can select a favorite celebrity to read their Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn feeds. A natural human voice reads users feeds among the tracks of the user’s Spotify playlist, allowing the user to keep their eyes and hands free.

Driver distraction and inattention in road traffic and the resulting accidents have become a world-wide problem. Drivers are often tempted to use their mobile phones while driving, even though all disruptive use of communication devices is forbidden in most jurisdictions.

-          Now it’s easy to follow social media channels, together with your favorite songs, even while driving, running or cycling. When a person hears the social media feeds together with music, roads become safer and there will be less accidents, tells inventor of the service, Mr. Timo Uusi-Kerttula.

In Finland, the service is starring a former Radio Rock morning show host Mr. Jussi Heikelä and most followed Finnish Twitter person Mr. Tuomas Enbuske.

Feed Of Me is seeking $100.000 for further development and marketing. Company is privately held and currently has four angel investors, along with funding from the Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation.

The service will be launched in the second half of 2016. Its revenue model is based upon sales of voices that speak out load the users feeds, advertising and partnership. Feed Of Me expects to gain several million users worldwide. The company has a patent pending in the U.S.
