Last call for entries to the Felix Schoeller Photo Award: submission deadline is 31.05.2015.

The deadline for submitting entries to the 2015 international Felix Schoeller Photo Award is 31 May 2015. This deadline will not be extended. Entries can be uploaded to www.felix-schoeller-photoaward.com.

We have received entries from 40 countries since 1 January 2015. With prizes totalling €38,000, this is one of the richest awards in the German-speaking world. Prizes will be awarded in five categories and there will be a separate award for emerging photographic talent. The category winners will each receive €2,000 and the emerging photographer award has non-monetary prizes worth around €18.000 and will take the form of equipment lent by camera manufacturer Phase One. The winner of the Photo Award in Gold, which is worth €10,000, will be chosen from the category winners.

The five categories are portrait, landscape/nature, architecture/industry, photojournalism/editorial photography, free choice/conceptual photography.

The awards ceremony will take place in early October and the exhibition of prizewinning work in Osnabrück’s Cultural History Museum will open at the same time.
