Aho and Salmenkivi to strengthen FIM Asset Management

Petri Aho, MSc (Soc.Sc.) (38), will start at FIM Asset Management on 5 June 2006 as Head of International Sales. During the past 11 years, Aho has been employed by Nordea, MeritaNordbanken and Merita in Helsinki and Copenhagen, working with in sales and sales management assignments. His latest position has been as Director in the International Sales Department of Nordea Markets in Helsinki. “As FIM’s internationalizing scheme proceeds, we wish to strengthen our sales and its management; especially the position as the leading emerging market asset manager in Finland gives us confidence in the potential of our spearhead products internationally”, says Niklas Geust, Managing Director of FIM Asset Management Ltd. Jouni Salmenkivi, Business College Graduate (43), will start at FIM Asset Management on 5 June 2006 as Fund Manager and head of the Fixed Income Team. During the past 19 years, he has been employed by Nordea, MeritaNordbanken and Merita, however during the years 1995-1997 he was employed by the OP Group. His latest position at Nordea has been Senior Portfolio Manager, Nordea Investment Management. ”As the fourth largest equity asset manager, we also wish to systematically strengthen our resources within fixed income products.
