FIM and the Finnish Savings Banks Association agree on co-operation in brokerage in the Nordic Exchange FIM and the Finnish Savings Banks Association have reached an agreement on co-operation in brokerage. FIM will act as the intermediary in the securities transactions of the member savings banks of the Finnish Savings Banks Association in all trades executed on the Nordic Exchange. The savings banks will use FIM Securities as their intermediary in securities transactions as of fall 2007. The Finnish Savings Banks Association is the central organization of savings banks with 39 member savings banks. The savings banks have 210 offices in Finland and 530,000 customers. The clientele is mainly comprised of retail customers, agriculture and forestry entrepreneurial enterprises as well as small and medium-sized companies. The savings banks' own product and service portfolio covers all key basic banking services. The services offering is complemented by services and products offered by partners.
