FIM Group Corporation STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 23 May 2006 at 9:30 a.m.(EET) FIM’S STRONG GROWTH CONTINUED INTERIM REPORT OF FIM GROUP JAN-MAR 2006: SUMMARY -The total income from investment services increased by 81% to 21.2 million euros (11.8 million euros Jan-Mar 2005) -Operating profit grew by 160% to 6.2 million euros (2.4) -Earnings per share increased by 168% to 0.11 euros (0.04) -At the end of March, the assets under management amounted to 3.0 billion euros, an increase by 73% from the corresponding period last year -84% of FIM’s mutual funds outperformed their benchmark indices during the period Jan Forsbom, CEO of FIM Group Corporation: ”The strong growth of FIM’s business operations and profit continued during the first quarter of the year. The favourable market situation supported the growth in all three business areas. Due to the higher market share, the operating profits of Asset Management and Brokerage exceeded our targets. The result of Investment Banking was burdened by non-recurring restructuring costs.
