JEAN GRALL TO HEAD FIM CORPORATE FINANCE IN MOSCOW

Jean Grall has been appointed as Managing Director of the Corporate Finance division of ZAO FIM Financial Services in Moscow. He is also holding the position of CEO of the company during Hanna Loikkanen’s maternity leave starting in April. Mr. Grall has previously been responsible for the investment banking business of Salomon Brothers in several European countries for more than 16 years (1982-1999). Prior to that, he was a senior banker for 8 years in Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking Department in New York and London. After leaving Salomon Brothers, Mr. Grall acted as a financial advisor to a number of his clients, notably Hellenic Telecoms, and Cantor Holdings, a Dutch property and investment company. Irina Torp, (MA, MBA) currently Director of FIM Asset Management Ltd in Helsinki, has been appointed as Project Director for the Asset Management business area to be built up in Moscow. Torp will be in charge of starting up both the Asset Management and the Fund Management companies, including the acquiring of the appropriate licenses, staffing and start-up of the operations.
