Tyster appointed to FIM Group's Management Board, Päiväniemi appointed Manager, IR

Ms. Mari Tyster, Master of Laws, has been appointed Head of Group Legal and Compliance as of October 1, 2006. She has also become a member of FIM Group’s Management Board. Ms. Tyster has worked for FIM since 2002 in various tasks, among others as internal auditor and compliance officer. Previously, she worked for Conventum Group as a legal counsel. Mari Tyster will report to Mr. Risto Perttunen, CEO of FIM Group Corporation.

Ms. Sanna Päiväniemi, Master of Science (Forestry), has been appointed Manager, Investor Relations at FIM Group. She comes from Rautaruukki where she has held the same position since 2004. Prior to Rautaruukki she worked as investment analyst at Opstock Securities. Sanna Päiväniemi will take up her position on October 23, 2006, and will report to CFO Niklas Geust.
