Finago has published its 2025 Sustainability Highlights, offering customers, partners and stakeholders a transparent view of how the company builds trust, resilience and long-term value through responsible business practices. The report highlights the company’s progress in the environmental, social and governance areas.

Finago has clear focus on people, information security and a responsible supply chain, all critical to delivering reliable, secure and future‑proof financial software. For Finago’s customers, sustainability means stable services, secure data, and a partner that operates responsibly at scale. In February 2026, Finago’s decarbonisation targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), reinforcing the company’s commitment to climate action grounded in science and accountability.

“At Finago, sustainability is integrated into our everyday work and decision making. We embed ESG considerations in all our strategic planning, investment and procurement decisions, product development processes, and risk management frameworks.” says Anni Kivisilta, Finago’s Chief HR & Sustainability Officer. “This report is not only about our progress. It sets our direction. We are proud to show that responsible business and commercial success go together.”

Finago runs its sustainability work with a strong focus on external verification, clear standards and independent assessment. In practice, Finago bases its sustainability work on recognised frameworks and third party validation. The aim is to ensure that sustainability commitments are backed by data, accountability and regular review.

Highlights of Finago’s sustainability actions and results include:

  • Strengthening managerial capabilities in supporting employee well-being
  • Granting ownership to all employees through the broad‑based ownership program
  • Gender-based equality level of 45% women and 55% men
  • Retaining the ISO 27001 certification for consolidated Information Security Management Systems covering whole Finago
  • Completing supply chain sustainability surveys, sanctions checks and requirement for agreeing with Supplier Code of Conduct to build trust
  • EcoVadis Gold medal for the second year in a row.

The 2025 report is Finago’s first as a pan-Nordic company after Accountor Software, Heeros and 24SevenOffice became Finago in 2025. Finago strives to strengthen its commitment to sustainability further across all areas of its business in all the countries it operates in.
