Electrolube Launch New Electronics Protection Solutions to the Australian Market at Electronex
Electrolube, the global manufacturer at the forefront of electro-chemicals technology, will launch a range of complete protection solutions for electronics to manufacturers in Australia, on stand D17 at the Electronex Expo in Sydney. The Electronics Design and Assembly Expo is Australia’s only dedicated electronics industry event and will take place on the 10-11th September at the Australian Technology Park.
Electrolube will showcase the optically clear encapsulation resin, SC3001, which offers exceptional protection for electronics where a high level of clarity is required. The low viscosity silicone resin has been specifically designed to solve a variety of challenges facing the LED industry; it protects and insulates components from the threats of harsh and challenging environments such as moisture, chemicals and general contamination, providing the highest protection in a range of environments.
The single component UV Cure conformal coating, UVCL, is a fast-drying, non-flammable VOC-free coating, specifically formulated to give superior 'sharp-edge' coverage with common selective coating methods. Designed to offer the highest level of protection for electronic circuitry at exceptionally high speeds of application and cure, the low viscosity, 100% solids coating cures in seconds with conveyorized UV lamps; due to an innovative 'dual-cure' process, a secondary moisture cure mechanism that provides complete cure even in shadowed areas. UVCL is extremely resistant to common 'thermal shock' cycling, solvent and fluid exposure, moisture vapor, salt-spray and condensing environments.
PE7500 Clear Polyester resin is a flexible encapsulation resin that provides the performance afforded by polyurethane resins without the use of isocyanates. With high flexibility at temperature extremes of -70 to +100°C and excellent electrical properties, the PE7500 polyester resin provides an innovative solution to low hazard potting and encapsulation applications. As a low hardness material, PE7500 allows easy removal of cured material for rework processes due to its 'digoutable' properties and translucent amber colour.
Electrolube’s non toxic, low odour cleaning solution, Safewash Total (SWAT), is a specially formulated blend of non-flammable solvents which forms a micro-emulsion when mixed with water. Designed for cleaning printed circuit boards, it is ideal for the safe removal of all types of flux residues, including no-clean, and is surfactant free, which makes it easy to rinse. Additionally it is suitable for removing pastes and adhesives from boards and stencils used in SMT electronic production, as well as general degreasing applications.
Throughout the show, Electrolube will be putting their team of chemists to the test with ‘Challenge Electrolube’. As solutions people, there’s nothing Electrolube relishes more than overcoming challenges and solving problems for the industry by providing the most suitable encapsulation resin, conformal coating, cleaning solution, contact lubricant or heat transfer product. Visitors are invited to bring along their electro-chemical challenges to stand D17 and test the team’s problem solving capability.
