First Camp acquires five-star Kronocamping Lidköping

First Camp continues its growth journey and is now acquiring Kronocamping Lidköping. The campground has received multiple awards and is one of Sweden's few five-star campgrounds. Following the acquisition, First Camp has a total of 71 destinations, with 52 of them located in Sweden. 

The journey with the family-owned Kronocamping Lidköping began in the 1960s by Sven Larsson and is currently operated by the third generation. Three of the current owners, Pernilla Söderström, Pavo Andersson, and Peder Andersson, will continue to work in the business under First Camp's ownership. 

The campground features approximately 500 camping pitches, 30 cabins, a spa, restaurant, adventure golf, and an annual turnover of around 40 million SEK. Its location is highly attractive, directly on the shore of Lake Vänern and within walking distance to central Lidköping.

Operationally, Kronocamping Lidköping will be run as a separate business within First Camp. The takeover is set for February 1, 2024. Current CEO Pernilla Söderström will remain in her position. Framnäs Camping AB will be owned by United Camping Campsite HoldCo AB, a sister company to First Camp Group AB, and ownership will thus be outside the obligation structure of First Camp Group AB.
