First Camp continues its successful expansion and acquires nine campsites in Germany and Switzerland
First Camp, the largest camping and resort group in the Nordics, is taking an exciting step in its European expansion with the acquisition of nine popular camping destinations in Germany and Switzerland. With these destinations joining the First Camp family, the Group now reaches a total of 87 destinations across Europe.
The destinations, operated under the well-known CAMPING LODGE and AZUR brands, will continue to be run by their dedicated local teams. Guests can expect the same warm atmosphere, nature-focused experiences and high-quality service they already know — now as part of the wider First Camp network.
Johan Söör, Group CEO of First Camp, says:
“We are incredibly happy to welcome these destinations and their fantastic teams into the First Camp family. Germany and Switzerland are beautiful regions with strong camping traditions, and we already see many guests travelling both north and south. With this expansion, we can offer guests even more inspiration, more nature, and more places to enjoy truly memorable camping moments — and with almost 90 destinations in our family, the possibilities have never been greater.”
