First Camp receives merger clearance in connection with the acquisition of Apukka Resort
First Camp is pleased to announce that the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) has today confirmed that it will issue a positive decision in relation to the merger control process concerning the acquisition of Apukka Resort in Rovaniemi in Finland. This marks a key milestone in the transaction, enabling the final steps toward closing.
As previously communicated, the acquisition is part of First Camp’s strategic expansion into the Finnish market, and Apukka’s strong position within winter tourism aligns well with our existing operations across the Nordics.
The decision follows a standard phase 1 review by the FCCA, and no substantive concerns were raised during the market consultation process.
The acquisition is being made by a sister company to First Camp Group. The acquiring entity is outside First Camp Group AB and its subsidiaries. Bondholders in First Camp Group AB are therefore not directly affected by this transaction.
