First Camp signs agreement to acquire Camp Ripan – strengthening its footprint in the Arctic Circle following the recent Apukka Resort acquisition

First Camp, the leading camping and resort group in Northern Europe, has signed an agreement to acquire Camp Ripan, a leading full-service year-round destination in Kiruna in northern Sweden.

Camp Ripan is a well-established Arctic hospitality operation combining hotel, cabins, spa, dining and a wide portfolio of winter and summer experiences. With its strong reputation, high guest satisfaction and unique location in Kiruna, Camp Ripan becomes a strategically important addition to First Camp.

The agreement follows First Camp’s recent acquisition of Apukka Resort in Finnish Lapland earlier this year. Together, the two acquisitions significantly strengthen First Camp’s presence across the Arctic Circle region, an area experiencing substantial international demand driven by winter tourism, outdoor experiences and year-round nature travel.

Following the acquisition, Camp Ripan will continue to operate with its existing team in place, ensuring stability for guests, employees, partners and the local community.

The acquiring company is outside of the First Camp Group as defined in the Terms and Conditions of the bond issued October 2024, and therefore the bondholders in First Camp Group AB are not directly affected by this transaction.

Closing is expected in Q4 2025, subject to customary procedures.
