Fiskars wins 4 GOOD DESIGN™ 2015 Awards for design excellence
MADISON, Wis.– Fiskars is proud to announce that four of its products from the company’s garden, home improvement, kids and sewing categories were awarded the prestigious GOOD DESIGN™ 2015 Award. The award emphasizes quality design of the highest form, function, and aesthetic.
The GOOD DESIGN™ Award is conferred annually by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design together with The European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. The Museum received several thousand entries in 2015 from corporations in over 47 countries.
The following Fiskars products were named some of the most innovative and cutting-edge product designs around the world in 2015:

- Clearing Tools – available January 2016
- MVP 5” Non-stick Kids Scissors –available Back-to-School 2016
- Chenille Cutter – available March 2016

All winning designs for GOOD DESIGN 2015 will be posted on the Museum’s website at www.chiathenaeum.org and are published in the GOOD DESIGN Yearbook for 2015-2016.
Now in its 65th year, GOOD DESIGN remains the oldest and most prestigious Awards Program organized worldwide. Submissions to the program are judged by a jury of distinguished design professionals and leading industry specialists to create a revived awareness about contemporary design and to honor both products and industry leaders in design and manufacturing that have
