Codetermination negotiations concluded at Fiskars Home's ceramics factory

The codetermination negotiations started at Fiskars Home’s ceramics factory in Helsinki (Arabia factory) on 18 January have now been concluded. The aim of the negotiations was to achieve new levels of flexibility and secure the factory’s long-term future competitiveness in line with Fiskars’ updated ceramic products production strategy.
All 230 employees at the Arabia factory were covered by the codetermination negotiations and the reduction in personnel was expected to involve a maximum of 95 people. Following the conclusion of the negotiations, a total of 73 employees will be affected, of which 68 will be made redundant and five others will leave the company under other arrangements. Fiskars is committed to supporting everyone who is made redundant and assisting them in finding a new job.
