Fiskars Home to simplify its organization and begin codetermination negotiations at the Iittala Group

FISKARS HOME TO SIMPLIFY ITS ORGANIZATION AND BEGIN CODETERMINATION NEGOTIATIONS
AT THE IITTALA GROUP                                                            

Fiskars Corporation's subsidiary, Iittala Group Ltd, is to simplify its         
organizational structure and initiate further measures to adapt its cost        
structure to the current challenging market situation.                          

As a result of these organizational changes, Iittala Group Ltd will start       
codetermination negotiations with employees on possible redundancies.           
Negotiations will cover a total of approximately 160 of the company's office and
managerial personnel in Finland. Possible redundancies are estimated to affect  
around 35 people.
