FISKARS TO START CODETERMINATION NEGOTIATIONS AT ITS PLANT IN BILLNÄS

Fiskars Brands Finland will start codetermination negotiations on redundancies
and temporary lay-offs with personnel in its manufacturing plant in Billnäs,
Finland. These negotiations will cover around 380 people, and redundancies are
expected to involve a maximum of 15 employees. The required lay-offs are
expected to last for around six weeks.

The objective of negotiations is to adapt the plants' operations to the
uncertain market situation.
