ON A CHANGE IN HOLDINGS                                                         


Fiskars Corporation has been informed that Virala Oy Ab has increased its       
holdings to more than 1/5 of the voting rights in Fiskars Corporation. Holdings 
of share capital are still more than 1/10.                                      

Under Chapter 2, Section 10 of the Securities Markets Act, we hereby announce
