For the first time ever, Fjällräven is launching a collaborative collection. In homage from one Swedish brand to another, high-profile fashion brand, Acne Studios, has reinterpreted some of Fjällräven's most iconic pieces. The resulting collection is clearly inspired by Fjällräven's timeless functionality, but features the distinctive character of Acne Studios.

“When Acne Studios approached us we were honored, but curious too, because we’ve never done anything like this before. The result is a unique collection that embodies the timeless functionality of Fjällräven and the artistic approach of Acne Studios, while creating something completely new,” says Henrik Andersson, Head of Innovation and Design at Fjällräven.

Acne Studios is a long-time admirer of Fjällräven and considers the functional designs of the brand as hallmarks of Swedish culture. "I grew up with Fjällräven. If you are Swedish, you have a very specific relationship with the brand", says Jonny Johansson, Creative Director of Acne Studios.

Unveiling on 30 August, the collection will be available for purchase from 6 September 2018 in Fjällräven Brand Centres in Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Oslo, New York Soho and Toronto, and on fjallraven.com as well as in all Acne Studios stores worldwide and on acnestudios.com.
