Flex to present and host at industry events on emerging health insurance delivery models.

ROSEMONT, Ill. (Nov. 29, 2012) – Flexible Benefit Service Corporation (Flex), a leading provider of tax-advantaged and consumer-driven health plans (CDHPs), today announced they will be educating business professionals on defined contribution health benefits and private insurance exchanges at numerous industry events.

On Dec. 5, Employee Benefit Adviser will host the Workplace Benefits Transitions Conference in Chicago, where John DiVito, president of Flex, will present at a panel discussion on “Flexible Compensation & Defined Contribution Benefit Plans.”  This event will focus on the changing workplace benefits marketplace and features these funding programs as key drivers to an emerging employee health benefits delivery model.

Flex has also partnered with the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce to host an event for local businesses on Dec. 6. This event, “A New Health Insurance Model: Private Insurance Exchanges,” will educate attendees on defined contribution plans and private exchanges. Health insurance producers can also learn more about these programs at the InsureXSolutions Webinar on Dec. 13.

Offered in select markets, the InsureXSolutions™ private insurance exchange is available for any sized business, and is ideal for employers not currently offering health insurance. It utilizes the defined contribution funding model to allow employers to establish their own budget and assist employees with health care expenses. Employees use the InsureXSolutions online marketplace to shop for and purchase individual health, Medicare, short-term and vision insurance.

“Flex has offered defined contribution health plans since our inception and to see them re-emerge in connection with insurance exchanges is a true testament to their power,” says President of Flex, John DiVito.
