Flexion Mobile Plc receives Notice of Allowance from USPTO for patent application
Flexion can now complete its US patent used in game distribution
LONDON, 14th of September, 2018 – Flexion Mobile Plc (Nasdaq: FLEXM), the London-based company that helps game developers maximise the potential of their android games, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a Notice of Allowance for the company’s patent application 15/121,234.
The patent application relates to the system and method used by Flexion to modify the behaviour of software applications. The system and method powers Flexion’s service offering to Android game developers and is used to boost distribution and revenues for many of the top grossing games worldwide. Flexion's technology makes games compatible with any Android distribution channel. Features in existing Android games can be automatically added, removed or replaced without requiring access to the games' source code and without requiring the game developers to do any work.

The USPTO has now notified Flexion Mobile Plc that a notice of allowance for the company’s patent application 15/121,234 has been issued. The patent application - SYSTEM AND METHOD TO MODIFY RUN-TIME BEHAVIOR OF AN APPLICATION BY MODIFICATION OF MACHINEREADABLE INSTRUCTIONS – covers the company’s enabling technology. This means that the USPTO would grant the patent after certain formal steps have been completed.
