Flexion Mobile strengthens its Board with appointments of two industry heavy weights

LONDON, 24th of August, 2021 – Flexion Mobile Plc (Nasdaq: FLEXM), the Android games distribution company today announced that Mikael Pawlo and Jean-Marcel Nicolai have been elected as new members to the Board of Directors in accordance with its Articles of Associations.

Biography of Mikael Pawlo

Mikael Pawlo is currently the Head of Growth of Bokio leading the international growth and expansion, following the merger of automated accounting and financial services companies Red Flag and Bokio in 2020. Mikael was CEO and co-founder of Red Flag. Prior to co-founding Red Flag in 2015, he was the founding CEO and board member of listed company Mr Green & Co, since 2008. Mr Green was acquired in 2019 by one of the world's largest betting and gaming companies William Hill PLC in a cash offer of GBP 242m.

Mikael is the chairman of Forza Football since 2018. Forza Football is a group consisting of a live score application with some 3 million active weekly users, a SaaS solution for football clubs, a data company and a project active in the NFT space capturing historical moments into art. Mikael is the chairman at Supertext, a hybrid messaging platform bringing messaging to the unconnected in Indonesia.

Mikael is on the board of Wemind, Sweden's number one caregiver in psychiatry. Mikael is on the board of the Business Council of The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, IVA.

Previously Mikael has served on the board of Djurgårdens Elitfotboll, X5 Music Group and Peerialism among many other companies. He is an angel investor in tech companies, with some 30 active holdings. He is one of the founders of the Nordic Tech Club, a forum for Nordic tech entrepreneurs.

Biography of Jean-Marcel Nicolai

Jean-Marcel is the current Head of Games and COO at Atari Inc, where he is developing and growing the portfolio of games and distribution channels on different platforms and devices (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Apple IOS and Google Android). On top of product quality and product management, Jean-Marcel is also focused on business process efficiencies to make Atari a stronger digital organization leading to faster growth and better productivity.

Jean-Marcel has held several executive management positions such as:

Chief Product & Experience Officer at Centric Digital, an Inc 500 fastest growing Digital Management Consulting Company where Jean-Marcel built a product experience team made of Digital Specialists (Strategy, Product & Technology) accelerating the growth of the company by creating a full range of new services and products helping Centric Digital clients driving their digital transformations based on insights and big data platforms and measuring the digital maturity of the companies;

Senior Vice President of World-Wide Product and Technology at Disney Interactive Studios (Los-Angeles) were he spearheaded a team of 1,200 people around the globe (China, Japan, Europe and the US) including five internal development studios, technology teams and a pool of 40+ product managers as well as the shared service groups; and

Chief Technical Officer and Chief Product Officer at Atari (New York) were he created and managed the technology, product development and operations teams working with more than 50 different 3rd party companies and development studios around the globe and also overseen internal development studios for a total of 600 people dedicated to product development and technology.
