Anders Fogelberg intends to quit as CEO at FlexQube and take a new role in the company
After nine years as CEO and as a natural step in the company's next phase to become a leading global robotics and automation company, Anders Fogelberg has decided, in agreement with the Board to leave the role as CEO and instead further strengthen FlexQube's continued expansion, with a focus on global strategy, sales and business development.
Anders will remain as CEO until a new CEO has been recruited and will then remain in the company and continue the work of driving sales development and strategy of the company's products and customers on the international market.
Recruitment of a successor has begun to find a new CEO who can lead the company on its continued growth journey.
Christian Thiel, Chairman of the Board, FlexQube AB (publ):
“During his nine years as CEO, Anders has done a fantastic job and successfully developed the company to become a leading player in robot- and cart logistics in 35 countries where, among others, a global car manufacturer* and Amazon are now found as our biggest customers. With a strong sales focus and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Anders has led the company to the level we are at today. However, we are still only at the beginning of our journey and now we are entering the next phase of scaling and growing our business further and with an even greater focus on automation. Both as a shareholder and chairman of the board, I am eternally grateful for Anders' incredible work all these years and look forward to the next phase where Anders will continue to be involved but in another very important and value-creating role.
FlexQube is well on its way to revolutionize the internal logistics market with a hugely exciting product portfolio and fantastic customer base, and we look forward to supporting the next CEO to shoulder the responsibility of making FlexQube a multinational robotics- and automation company.”
Anders Fogelberg, CEO, FlexQube AB (publ):
“I am very proud of the journey the company has made under my leadership. From our basic idea and start-up of a small-scale operation in Sweden, to reaching out into the world with our material handling concept and now getting to work with large international companies such as Amazon, a global car manufacturer* and Siemens. It has been an incredibly stimulating and rewarding time as CEO and I am now ready to continue to support FlexQube with strategy, sales and business development.”
