New production method increases capacity and lower costs

During the spring of 2018, FlexQube has been working together with Bendiro in the Swedish city of Falkenberg, to develop a roll forming tool for manufacturing of the single most important component of the FlexQube concept, the FlexBeam. In the end of June, the new production line at Bendiro’s facilities was inaugurated and the first batch of products was produced.

The investment will pay off right away since the production costs will be significantly lower compared to the traditional production method for the FlexBeam that has been used so far. The new production method will also increase FlexQube’s production capacity and enable FlexQube to meet the increased demand for FlexQube’s products. The new facilities will initially produce components also for markets outside of Europe, but discussions about setting up a similar production facility in North America are ongoing.
